Since this service is free and open to ALL Christmas tree farms, not just those who belong to an association or pay for an ad, like almost all other websites do, this is the most complete and current listing available! Tips:

- ALWAYS call the farm or store BEFORE YOU GO to confirm their supply, their hours
and whether they have trees, are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees; and which attractions or winter activities are available.

May: Most Christmas tree farms open on the last Saturday in November; Some open a month earlier to allow you to mark the tree you want while the weather is nicer! The weather has been good for growing trees in 2017, so it looks like a great crop.

Tartan Timber is a supplier of firewood logs, kindling and log stores, delivering around The Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park areas to a variety of trade and domestic customers. All of our timber comes from local forests, mainly from the wind blow from the storms. The wood is collected by our own timber lorry and is stored at our yard for around 12-18 months to season.

Food and drink is available at the Glentress Peel Cafe on site which is open every day. The café will also have Santa's grotto and kids' crafts. Come along to our sales centre just outside Peebles, to pick up a tree and other Christmas accessories. We're also holding a festive fun weekend, with entertainment for all the family. 2015 Prices start from £15, and we sell fir, pine and spruce, ranging between 4ft and 10ft. Our spruce and pine are grown to FSC standards. You can also shop for tree accessories, such as tree stands, decorations such as yule logs and firewood.
